Hi All!! Me again.
This is my second online class in the Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP). I am also still excited to be able to be part of this journey.
The course I decided to take this time is "Clean and Simple Boutique Cards".
The technique for this course is learning how to make simple but beautiful cards that any Boutique would be honored to sell.

How it’s made: I started with Nina Solar White 110 lb cardstock as my base and also cut another piece for my stamped image and sentiment. I then stamped the Cascading Bouquet Stamp with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Once the ink dried (it is a pigment ink, so it takes a few minutes to dry) I lined the die cut up and die cut the arrangement and also die cut the sentiment from the Scripty Sentiment Die Set. I then cut a piece of Altenew’s Brushed Gold Cardstock to 5 ½ x 4 ¼ to use for my Half Tone Cover Die. I then used one of my mini blending brushes with the Coral Bery Fresh Dye ink and ink blended the front of my card base and the “hello” sentiment. Then I put it all together. 😊 I used Bearly Art glue to adhere my Half Tone die cut to the base of my card and let the color shine. I then added some foam tape to the back of my flowers and adhered it on top of the gold cardstock. I used Bearly Art glue to adhere the sentiment and the card is now complete. I do have to admit, this one I struggled with. I am an over the top card creator and it is very difficult for me to not color my stamped image.
Products/Supplies Used:
Cascading Bouquets Stamp and Die, Scripty Sentiments Die Set, Half Tone Cover Die, Nina Solar White 110 lb card stock, Altenew Brushed Gold Cardstock, VersaFine Onyx Black Ink pad, Coral Berry Fresh Dye Ink, Stamp Wheel, Foam Tape, and Bearly Art Glue.
Tips:When die cutting a cover plate, make sure to put it through your die cut machine at an angle so you will get a better cut. This will help evenly distribute the pressure to the entire die.
Please share your thoughts and share when you make yours. 😊 Feel free to reach out with any questions you have.
Looks great! As mentioned before, please share more photos of your project :) Thanks!
